The Sous Chef position works with other chefs to create an enviroment for great food and service. We are a Christian camp that seeks to Transforming Lives, Impacting Generations, and Change the World for Jesus Christ.
During the summer we provide meals for 900 guest a day. During retreat season, it is less but we have around 200 to 600 guest a week. You are perform all phases of Food Service in accordance with the Texas State Health Laws and Regulations. To seek to serve
with a great heart in the Christian Camping Ministry as assigned outside of the Food Service Area. This position requires a person willing to do multi-tasking.
You must live on the campground in a house that is provided. The camp gives salary, annuity, insurance, and pays for your utilities. Most meals throughout the year is provided.
Highland Lakes Camp is located on Lake Travis near Austin, tucked away in a wonderfully secluded Hill Country setting. With quality accommodations and great program facilities able to serve groups of up to 800. We have host numerous camps, conferences, meetings, and retreats year round. We seek to create an atmosphere for renewal and provides opportunities for life-changing experiences with God.
