Worship Pastor

The Worship Pastor is responsible for leading the worship arts ministry at Faith Church, creating excellent, distraction-free environments that love and lead people to worship Jesus. The success of this role will be in equipping worship leaders and volunteers to carry out the work of ministry, but the Worship Pastor will also need to be the safety net when needed. They oversee all musicians, vocalists, media, sound and other creative arts volunteers.

Pastor & Shepherd

Responsible for shepherding and leading the worship and production team to pursue the “win” for a weekend as it relates to the mission of the church. This is accomplished by:

1. Caring and praying for leaders and team members.
2. Defining and maintaining a ministry culture modeled after Christ’s love.
3. Helping team members work through conflict in healthy ways.

Worship Leader

Responsible for leading people into the presence of God every weekend service by:

1. Singing and leading publicly as an overflow of private worship throughout the week.
2. Recruiting, training, and mentoring gifted worship leaders and musicians who sing and play with excellence to create an environment of participation over performance.
3. Planning and overseeing transitions and communication between songs (prayer, exhortation, musical elements, etc.) that leads people to Jesus.

Music Director

Responsible for organizing and orchestrating the details of music by:

1. Planning the musical arrangement of each song, ensuring that the musical road map (song flow, tempo, keys, dynamics) is clear and appropriate for the skill level of the team.
2. Running a smooth and efficient rehearsal, ensuring team members have come prepared and ready to execute the song arrangement.
3. Communicating song arrangements and changes to the worship team and production team to ensure all service elements are updated.

Programming Director

Responsible for all details related to the planning and execution of dynamic weekend services and Big Sundays (Christmas, Easter, etc.). This is accomplished by:

1. Participating in service planning and creative brainstorming meetings to evaluate the past and plan the future.
2. Scheduling worship team members, working around block-out dates and skill levels.
3. Planning set lists that meet people where they are at and bring them to Jesus.
4. Ensuring that all programming details are scripted out at least two weeks prior to the event date including musical, technical, video, and other program notes and assets.
5. Managing the current song catalog, ensuring we have a healthy balance of songs (tempo, category, etc.)
6. Exploring and gathering new songs and other ideas (videos and other creative elements) that lead people to Jesus.

Production Director

Responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of weekend services, ensuring sound, lighting, video, and other production elements are executed seamlessly to support an environment of worship without distraction. This is accomplished by:

1. Overseeing all Production teams by recruiting, equipping and empowering leaders.
2. Work with the worship and production teams during rehearsals to ensure all technical aspects (mics, light cues, etc.) are ready and functioning properly before each service.
3. Oversee the maintenance and acquisition of music and technology equipment.
4. Regularly evaluate and improve the technical processes and tools, staying up to date with technology to enhance production quality.
