About:

Northshore is an independent, elder led, non-denominational church. We are not formally affiliated with any other church or national headquarters. Our members come to Northshore from every tradition . . . from Presbyterian to Catholic to Methodist to Quaker to Baptist and then some.

At Northshore Christian Church, we believe we will see our communities changed as we passionately pursue Jesus, radically love one another, compassionately serve our neighbors, and relationally disciple all people.

We believe that every person is called to be a disciple and become a mature disciple maker. We believe the definition of a disciple is found in the invitation to become a disciple in Matthew 4:19. A disciple is one who is committed to:

  1. Following Christ (Head)
  2. Being changed by Christ (Heart)
  3. Being on mission with Christ (Hands)

Our vision is to see our communities changed through hope in Jesus, one person at a time.

Northshore's culture fosters sharing the truth of Christ, connecting people to real community in Christ and growing in the image of Christ.  This is the practical way we fulfill our mission.  We do this intentional, relational discipleship in the context of small groups for all people: children, youth and adults. Our work is to accurately reflect Him to the world and disciple people into mature followers of Jesus Christ who can then reproduce themselves in others.

Northshore’s programs all reflect our commitment to disciple people at all levels toward full spiritual maturity. This happens in small group relationships where all are encouraged to learn the Word of God, serve others and develop spiritual growth disciplines.
